Gas Catalyitc Infrared Heating System Installed At Joinery Firm

Schuberts have just delivered and installed a low-cost retro fit gas catalytic system into John Watson joinery, a well respected producer of high quality wooden windows and doors.
The installation from Schuberts was in response to a very cold spray shop and extended drying times for the waterbased paints.
The gas catalytic infrared panels not only provide heat into the area but also dramatically cut the drying times and ensure the highest quality finish.
Kit-Cat systems can be floor, wall or frame mounted systems, are quick and cheap to install and make an immediate effect on spray shop bottle necks. The Kit-Cat range is available in both ATEX (EU) and non-ATEX variants.

UK Selling Agents/Partners Wanted!

We intend to increase our market share in the UK and are looking for sale partners, either individuals or companies, across the UK, who are already involved in the finishing industry, perhaps supplying spray guns and pumps, and are interested in widening their range with our own products.

We provide the correct application methods, environments and drying systems for the protective and decorative wet coating of wood, plastic, metal and glass products across industry. Training, test equipment and full sales and technical back-up is provided.

Included in our programme are fully automatic production systems with application of paints and lacquers by robot through-feed spray, roller and curtain coaters, ultra rapid drying of both water and solvent based materials via our gas catalytic IR heating technology, Burst-Fire IR, as well as standard hot air.

New MDF Finishing Line Commissioned

A new high speed MDF mouldings line from the manufacturer Makor, has just been commissioned. Schuberts were involved in the design, testing, evaluation and commissioning of the plant.
The finishing line, running at 80 metres per minute has been designed to apply a single coat of water-based paint onto 3 or 4 sides of MDF mouldings. This new primer paint, developed along side the infra-red technology, allows a single pass line, rather than traditional two-pass systems of old.
This line incorporates both a 10 second pre-heat and 10 second post-heat technology with jetted air combination.
