Sanding Rooms & Extraction
Control and disposal of by-products from the sanding, denibbing, preparation process
Dust and contamination can ruin that perfect finish. That’s why Schuberts not only concentrate on the application process, but also the control and disposal of by-products from the sanding, denibbing, preparation process.
Whilst some dust is airbourne, some is dragged across the floor, picked up on shoes, wheels and doors. Schuberts have various methods of reducing the risk of dust contamination.
Certain solvent processes require localised extraction to remove solvent vapour after application. These flash-off chambers are very effective in taking the solvent flash vapour and putting it into, for example a Schubox for oxidisation. The solvent vapours are kept away from spray zone, breathing in by operators and allow a much better ‘settling’ of the surface coating without the risk of contamination from airborne dust and particulate.
