Giardina Group Showcase In 4 Minutes

Giardina Group, one of Schuberts key working partners have showcased their finishing business in the below video.

Available in the UK and Ireland, Schuberts supply Giardina equipment for finishing timber, engineered board, GRP, PVC, glass and composites.

These can be roller coating, vacuum coaters, profile spray, panel spray, sanding, brushing, UV coating and all types of drying tunnels and ovens.

 




Canadian Customer Goes Double-Double-Vision

Vision Coatings Limited is the newest member of the Vision Group of Companies.

They provide advanced coating and finishing services for PVC and aluminium extrusion companies, window fabricators, and others in the fenestration industry. They offer a wide selection of colour choices and highly-durable finishing options, and can handle high-volume production orders.

Operating out of a brand new 50,000 sq. ft. facility in the Greater Toronto Area, they chose Schuberts and their Canadian partners, Yorke Towne as their chosen supplier for their new site.

Vision ordered a double length Schubox gas IR system, back in 2020. Such was the performance of the Schubox drying system, they ordered another system!

Dry cure times are now a remarkable 20 mins each cycle.

R&E Falkingham Invest With Schuberts

R&E Falkingham are a UK manufacturer of high quality timber windows, doors and custom joinery work.

 

They engaged with Schuberts for a turn-key new finishing system. This involved a sanding booth, with clean air-return systems, a large manual spray booth and a Kit-Cat IR drying system, all integrated into an overhead track system.

The products are manufactured and sanded or de-nibbed in front of an ATEX booth, where the dust is filtered and pushed back into the room as clean air.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The spray booth is a full height, custom-fit unit, with hand-made transition ducting through the wall and out to atmosphere.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once sprayed the peices go into a Kit-Cat drying tunnel, where direct IR, reflected IR and air movement all combine to dry the coatings very quickly.

UK Door Manufacturer Invests With Schuberts

Portico Doors are a leading manufacturer of Composite Doors, with a reputation for providing the highest quality of product.

Schuberts were the chosen partner for their brand new factory site, designing and supplying a turn-key finishing system.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The installation comprises of a spray shop enclosure, with full auto-air balance system, pre-conditioning the supply air to ensure a clean working environment. An ajustable divider panel allows two sprayers to work within the zone.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The flash-off chamber allows the coating to flow and settle out properly before drying.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A custom Schubox gas catalytic IR drying system, allows the coating to be dried very quickly, at low temperature, leaving less WIP and a through-dry product that can go directly to fit-up and then packing.

Ash has worked in the finishing sector since 2012 with increasing responsibilities and authority in each of his roles. His experience has been in two companies that serve the same industries than we serve, but from a coatings and application viewpoint.

 

In his spare time, Ash is a keen golf player, enjoys road running and loves cars, which always helps at Schuberts!

UK Audio Manufacturer Chooses Schubox Over Other Technologies

A unique British company whose total preoccupation, since it was formed in 1974, has been with quality. Since its inception, they have kept steadfastly to its founders aims of building loudspeakers and audio electronics, which employ the most effective of modern engineering principles.

That has meant far more than keeping up with or even ahead of the competition. It has meant striving to make loudspeakers as near perfection in their performance as it is possible to make them.

All of their products are built to provide nothing less than the best sound reproduction money can buy and to meet the challenge of the latest digital recording technology.

A Schubox gas catalytic infrared (CIR) drying system was installed to rapidly cure all wet coatings sprayed on, in a proper spray booth system.

 

Once applied, the Elmbridge products are flashed-off correctly for 10-15 mins and then introduced into the Schubox at 35-40c for between 30-90mins, depending on type of coating and film thickness sprayed. This client uses 2k polyeurathane and 3k polyester systems.

 

After the correct time in the Schubox, the peices are removed and sanded OR if top-coated are sent to fitting up, testing and despatch.

Bespoke Joinery Company Trust Schuberts For The Perfect Finish

RW have a dedicated in-house team of master craftsmen across two joinery workshops, and confidently deliver luxurious one-off pieces to an impeccable standard. Indeed, this precise level of finish is what so often influences their clients’ decision to work with them. With everything custom built, their dedicated joiners cater to requests ranging from custom kitchens, libraries and dressing rooms, to curved work, paneling, exquisite veneers, inlaying and polishing.

This capability is no longer commonplace in the industry and allows RW to maintain excellent standards of workmanship.

Complementing their joinery shops, for requests outside our usual productions, they have developed longstanding relationships with skilled subcontractors that equally work to their rigorous standards.

Adding to the very high levels of workmanship, they have just taken delivery of a custom-spec finishing shop from Schuberts.

 

Every single element of this new system was specifically designed and built for this site and the customers strict requirements, with tolerances and specification to make your eyes water!

-Preparation sanding/denibbing room with full wall extract and filtered cube system back into the factory, along with our Sandbox downdraft benches.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


-Spray shop enclosure with full inverter-driven air balance, filtered air input, ATEX rated components and hooked up to twin biomass boiler hot water coils to give the perfect spray temperatures all year round via an HMI touchscreen.

UK Timber Manufacturer Goes The Giardina Profile Finishing Route

A leading, high-end, manufacturer of the finest range of sash windows, casement windows and doors has just installed a new Giardina profile sanding and automatic spray line for their production and to add to the existing hanging spray shop, flash-off and Schubox system from Schuberts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 4 head sanding machine is fully adjustable from beading to window board, fitted with Flex-Trim heads and brushes, meaning a perfect sand every time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The spray machine is fitted with 3 Wagner GA4000 guns and applies a perfect coat of waterbased coatings to each and every profile.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once taken off the line, the products are racked on trolleys and put inside the Schubox CIR system for a proper drying process at 38c for 45 mins.
